HOW TO USE

  • Trim the wick. Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch to prevent soot and smoke build-up.
  • Burn for at least 2 hours the first time. This helps create an even wax pool and prevents tunneling.
  • Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. Extended burning can overheat the container and shorten the candle’s lifespan.
  • Place candles at least 3 inches apart. This prevents them from melting each other or creating drafts that affect the burn.
  • Do not use water to extinguish the flame. Water can cause the hot wax to splatter.
  • Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains. Stop burning the candle when only a small amount of wax remains to avoid overheating the container.

CAUTION

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. This is the most important rule. Always extinguish the candle before leaving the room or going to sleep.
  • Keep away from flammable materials. Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from curtains, furniture, books, or anything that can easily catch fire.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets. Burning candles should be kept well out of reach of curious hands and paws.
  • Do not move a burning candle. Wait until the wax has solidified before moving the candle.
  • Extinguish carefully. Use a candle snuffer or carefully dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish the flame. Avoid blowing on the flame, as this can spread hot wax and embers.
