Have you noticed how most household cleaning agents have a pine smell? Nothing so refreshing and invigorating as the smell of the mountains.
Even if the borders are closed, bring the mountains home with a bottle of our Scots Pine essential oil.
It is loaded with anti-microbial properties, making it not only ideal for cleaning surfaces but also safe to use around children and pets.
A warm oil, blend it with or Tunisian rosemary oil to make a massage oil blend that will instantly soothe tired and achy muscles.
If being cooped up at home makes you feel cramped and tired, diffuse some scots pine oil with a citrus essential oil like lemon oil to bring back happiness and spaciousness into your home.
How to Use
Scots pine oil has a woody, soothing scent and is considered a warm oil for its ability to increase blood flow.
It blends best with Tunisian rosemary oil for a soothing, healing massage blend. Mix 3 drops of each oil with 2 teaspoons of carrier oil like jojoba oil to make your own homemade massage oil.
Add it to antimicrobial oils such as cedarwood oil frankincense oil eucalyptus oil or tea tree oil to create a powerful but family-safe surface cleaner.
Sourced from
The needles of the Pinus sylvestris tree are steam distilled to produce scots pine oil. This tree is found natively in Austria and Hungary, where I source them from.
Caution
As with any essential oil, use scots pine essential oil diluted with a carrier oil. Use 3 drops of scots pine oil to a teaspoon of any carrier oil. Use 1 - 2% dilution for topical use.
